We are particularly interested in companies that use novel technology or leverage new methods of service delivery. Our primary sectors ïnclude:

• healthcare information & software
• mobile platforms & applications
• business to business & consumer internet/media companies

We also look to fund companies that have a game changing information/data proposition or emerging new technology in any business to business market.

Reed Elsevier Ventures looks to invest in companies that have a sizeable market opportunity, a clearly differentiated strategy & business model and an outstanding management team.

The fund invests in the US, Europe and Israel & will consider investment opportunities at all stages from seed and series A rounds to late stage financing.

Reed Elsevier Ventures will lead rounds or co-invest as part of a syndicate and will typically invest from $250k to $5m initially, depending on the stage of the investment. We also look to support our portfolio companies in subsequent rounds of financing.
